Research On Simple And Minimalist Lifestyle From The Perspective Of Marx's Needs Theory

The report to the 19 th National Congress of the Communist Party of China emphasizes: In lifestyle,we advocate moderation,green and low-carbon,resist unreasonable consumption and extravagance and waste.We advocate green travel,green communities,green schools,green homes,and the creation of conservation-minded institutions.With the continuous development of society,people 's lifestyle is also changing,simple moderate and green low-carbon lifestyle has become an inevitable choice under the trend of contemporary ecological civilization.From the perspective of Marx's needs theory,based on the current principal contradictions in China,especially on the practical needs of a better life,this paper makes a philosophical reflection on how to promote a simple and moderate way of life in China.This paper is based on Marx's theory of human needs.This paper studies the theoretical connotation and practical path of contracted moderate lifestyle.Firstly,Marx 's theory of human needs includes three basic dimensions: the dialectical unity of the needs of production and consumption,the dialectical unity of quality and quantity,and the dialectical unity of subject and object.Secondly,the conceptual history of this theory shows that the subject of "contracted moderate lifestyle" has experienced the historical evolution from the traditional moral and religious abstinence of "self-control" to the rational economic man of "self-interest",and then to the ecological man who consciously grasps the real needs of human beings.Finally,in the perspective of Marx 's theory of human needs,the contracted moderate lifestyle has three essential characteristics: the real needs of people,labor is the first need of people and the need of people' s free and all-round development.On the basis of theoretical discussion,this paper is based on the existing problems and causes of contemporary social lifestyle.From the daily production and life,consumption patterns,ways of communication these several angles reveal the reality of the minimalist moderate lifestyle dimension.Furthermore,combined with the needs of the construction of contracted moderate lifestyle in contemporary China,this paper proposes to explore the practical path of contracted moderate lifestyle from advocating green production mode,green consumption mode,and harmonious coexistence communication mode,so as to form a healthy,civilized and sustainable development of green lifestyle.
