Research On Supervision Of Overseas Chinese Donation In Qingyuan City

Charity is the traditional virtues to Chinese nation.Over the past years,Lots of Overseas Chinese,Hong Kong and Macao compatriots have made donations to support the development of the motherland and the needy groups,especially in the education and health care.The Overseas Chinese donation is not only embodying the traditional virtues of the donors,who always love ancestors and hometown,but also embodying the characteristics of Chinese culture.The Overseas Chinese donation has become an important part of public property.Improper use and poor management of Overseas Chinese donation may not only lead to the loss of property donated by Overseas Chinese,but also hurt the feelings of donors,dampen the enthusiasm of Overseas Chinese,Hong Kong and Macao compatriots to donate,and will certainly affect the benign development of China's public welfare and charity.Therefore,effective supervision of Overseas Chinese donation protects the legitimate rights and interests of donors and public property,and the credibility of public welfare and charity.This thesis takes the supervision work of Overseas Chinese donation in Qingyuan city as the research object,on the basis of the characteristics and current regulation of Overseas Chinese donation in Qingyuan city.With the problems of out of the regulation,weak regulators,poor supervision,anticlimactic supervision process and so on,this thesis combines the theory of contemporary charity supervision and project administration experience at home and abroad reference,suggests for perfecting the Qingyuan city Overseas Chinese donate regulation from the accountability mechanism,incentive mechanism,build supervision platform and so on : First,build the city's Overseas Chinese donations 'supervision coordination system and strengthen accountability mechanism to perfect the supervision mechanism;Second,improve the level of regulators,to establish regulatory incentive mechanism;Third,create a regulatory platform for Overseas Chinese donation projects by the establishment of the local foundation for Overseas Chinese;Fourth,achieve continuous effectiveness by release of information related to Overseas Chinese donations.
