The Design Of Community-based Social Media System In Crowd Sensing

We present the design,implementation and evaluation of the Co-Media system,which attempts to promote interactions among individuals of localized community using social media such as Sina Weibo and mobile crowdsourcing.Co-Media was designed to discover localized communities from social media networks,collect the content of social media,and detect the popular topics among community members.By deploying installation and exhibiting popular topics locally,Co-Media can attract community members into discussion and promote interactions among them.In order to validate the system,we run the Co-Media system in Shanghai Jiao Tong University continuously over a year period.In the evaluation,topics about community are detected in most cases,which reveals that the community itself is always interesting to community members.
