Current Situation And Improvement Strategies Of Internet Security Literacy For Middle-aged And Aged People

With the rapid development of information technology,the Internet is deeply involved in all aspects of our social life,and it also affects the middle-aged and elderly people gradually.On the one hand,the Internet makes the lives of the middle-aged and elderly people more convenient and colorful.On the other hand,due to the lack of both awareness of the network security and the using skills,the middle-aged and elderly groups become the main victims of the Internet crimes.According to the interviews among the 32 middle-aged and elderly people in Luoyang city,Henan province,there are several points that people should pay attention to.Firstly,most of the middle-aged and elderly people lack the awareness of network security at present,and the situation varies due to gender,age,education background and so on.Secondly,the lack of awareness of security also leads to their ill behavior when using Internet,which will cause some security risks,so it is urgent to improve their necessary knowledge about the network security.In addition,the protection mechanism of the Internet security for the elderly is not enough at all.Finally,the passage points out that if we want to protect the Internet security of the middle-aged and elderly groups,three aspects require our attention: legal system,technology and society.
