With the deepening development of modernization and globalization, the communication between different Minzu in our country is becoming more and more frequent, and the intercommunication of different Minzu,i.e.intercommunication,is increasing day by day.For such a large multi-ethnic family as China, the study of intercommunication is of great significance to the study of ethnic relations and the changes of national culture.Based on the above reasons, this paper takes Taka Yi Nationality Township as a field point to analyze the intermarriage between Yi and Tibetan Minzu from the perspective of cultural identity with innovative methods such as literature collation, case analysis, participation observation and so on.The unique geographical location of Taka Yi nationality makes the three ethnic groups of Yi,Tibet and Han live here. Some villagers can speak three languages of Yi,Tibet and Han,which is an ideal field choice for the study of intermarriage between Yi and Tibetan.Due to the influence of objective and cognitive conditions in the past, the Yi and Tibetan have formed their own unique marriage systems. The first principle of the marriage system is to strictly prohibit marriage with other Minzu other than their own. However, with the changes of the times, the marriage system has also changed in the exchanges of various Minzu. In the long-term exchanges between the Yi and Tibetan Minzu, the ethnic relations in the new period have been established and the phenomenon of inter-ethnic marriage has accompanied them. The emergence of interracial marriage is the most prominent part of the change of traditional marriage system. The phenomenon of interracial marriage among Tibetans in Taka Yi has obvious characteristics of the times from "dare not oppose","strongly oppose" to "gradually accept".The results show that intermarriage between Yi and Tibetan people in Taka Township is the inherent demand of the development of the times and culture. The intermarriage of Yi and Tibetan ethnic groups has the characteristics of intergenerational differences, relatively late marriage age, coexistence of multiple religious beliefs and gender differences;the main reasons for intermarriage in Taka are the living pattern, educational level, changes of marriage concept and the influence of Han culture on Yi and Tibetan culture;the identification of Yi and Tibetan intermarried families in the traditional cultural level of ethnic minorities is mainly intra-ethnic and inter-ethnic,and the two identities are parallel. It is not inconsistent with the formation of a multicultural whole and helps to enhance the identity of the nationalities. The study of interracial marriage is of great significance to the study of the changes of national culture, the promotion of national unity, and the promotion of regional harmonious development.
