Research On The Cultivation Of Chinese National Community Consciousness Among College Students

Since 2014,Xi Jinping has proposed on many important occasions and meetings to cultivate and strengthen Chinese national community consciousness,and subsequently it arouses a wave of related research in the academic community.The national conditions of a unified multi-ethnic country determine that handling ethnic relationships is the top priority of national development.The consciousness of Chinese national community reflects Xi Jinping's new approach to handling ethnic relations and solving ethnic issues in the new era,and it is the inherent requirement for building socialism with Chinese characteristics.The consciousness contains abundant national theories,community thoughts and correct values,which can better guide the practice.Contemporary college students shoulder the responsibility and mission of realizing the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation.However,economic globalization,erroneous thoughts and western multi-culture have affected the consciousness cultivation to some extent.Therefore,the consciousness cultivation of college students is extremely urgent.This paper uses the literature reading method and the questionnaire survey method.Taking the consciousness of Chinese national community put forward by state leaders for many times as the research background,this paper sums up and sorts out Marx,Engels and Lenin's ideas of national concept,community theory and national community,which enriches the theoretical sources.Through studying and combing the relevant papers and literatures of domestic and foreign experts and scholars on the sense of Chinese national community,it accumulates a large number of research materials.By means of questionnaire,this paper investigates the current situation of Chinese national community consciousness cultivation among some college students.The structure of the paper is divided into introduction and five parts of the text.First of all,the Chinese nation community is a community of shared future,shared interests,shared responsibilities and shared values among 56 ethnic groups on the Chinese mainland.Chinese national community consciousness embodies the consciousness of identity,belonging,development and responsibility of the Chinese people of all ethnic groups.In the process of deepening Chinese national community consciousness,it has the characteristics of stability,cohesion and times.Based on the thought of ethnic views and community thought of Marxism,and the national theory of socialism with Chinese characteristics,researching Chinese national community consciousness cultivation among some college students is not only beneficial to enhance the ability of college students against hostile thoughts and wrong ideological trend,the cultivation of comprehensive development of socialist builders and successors;but also help people of all ethnic groups deepen their "five identities" and strengthen their cohesion in exchanges and exchanges.Secondly,in the course of emergence and development of the Chinese nation community shows that in the development of productive forces,the role of the foreign invasion and other factors,Chinese national community consciousness has experienced its own relatively independent development:diverse symbiosis signs existed in China's prehistoric civilization —the breed stage of ancient times—the formation stage of modern times—the stage of contemporary development.Thirdly,a certain number of college students are selected from some colleges and universities to analyze the current situation of their cultivation.The conclusion is,on the one hand,the consciousness of Chinese national community among college students is basically formed and gradually growing,and they are willing to take the initiative to understand other national cultures and communicate with other ethnic groups,so the national unity is consolidated.On the other hand,there are some problems,which are manifested as follows: the overall emotional identity of college students is relatively weak;the consciousness of belonging is not strong;the consciousness of responsibility needs to be improved.To some extent,these problems have affected the cultivation of Chinese national community consciousness among college students.The reasons are mainly insufficient or deficient education of ethnic community in college and universities;unbalanced development of ethnic regions;the misguided trend of thought and the impact of cultural diversity.Finally,in order to realize the goal of strengthening Chinese national community consciousness,and according to the problems existing in the cultivation of contemporary college students,this paper puts forward the following countermeasures:integrate education of national outlook into ideological and political theory courses in colleges and universities;develop and utilize the cultivation resources of the university,such as holding campus cultural activities of "strengthening ethnic integration" and making good use of the campus network platform;the party and the state actively publicize and construct a favorable cultivation environment;adhere to the system of regional ethnic autonomy and narrow the gap in economic development among regions.To enhance the consciousness of Chinese national community cultivation among college students through the efforts of all parties.
