Besides power and wealth, countries in international society also have a general need for recognition.Countries will struggle for recognition against specific targets once their specific needs for recognition cannot be met. This paper mainly focuses on the effect of the recognition struggle of country. There is a complex effect between the strategic factors and the situational factors when the country carries out the recognition struggle, both of which affect the effect of country's recognition struggle.Only when the strategic factors are appropriate and the situational factors are superior, can the country achieve its expected effect of recognition struggle, while under the combination of the other three conditions, the possibility of achieving the expected effect of recognition struggle is much less. Then, this paper explores the rationality of the core hypothesis by citing three cases: the recognition struggle of Saudi Arabia against Qatar,he recognition struggle of U.S.against Iran, the recognition struggle of Russia against Ukraine, and the recognition struggle of the United States against North Korea. Then it is found that the hypothesis in this paper is logically and experientially reasonable to some extent.
