Frequency selective surface(FSS)is an artificial electromagnetic surface.It is a single or multi-layer planar structure consisting of a large number of identical elements arranged in two dimensionally periodic arrangement.Its response characteristics vary with frequency.The incident electromagnetic wave is almost completely transparent in some bands,while in other bands exhibits near total reflection.What the frequency selective surface presents is the electromagnetic wave filter function in the open spaceThis paper first introduces the origin,development and development prospects of frequency selective surface dynamic,and introduces other application scenarios and frequency selective surface similar to the two-dimensional periodic structure in the present stage of electromagnetic field inside.Next,the second chapter deals with the fundamentals of frequency selective surfaces.The principle of incident angle stability,cross polarization,the influence of dielectric layer on frequency selective surface,cell interval,element structure and grid arrangement are analyzed and discussed.Then,the third chapter introduced the research on the surface in the choice of band pass frequency,on how to avoid the high frequency band burr proposed solutions and numerical simulation,the realization of LC network through subwavelength periodic structure and vertical cascade,eliminating the high frequency channel and sub wavelength structure due to burr size small,easy cycle arrangement,so as to solve the problem of low frequency bandpass frequency selective surface design,obtained the good effect.Finally,this paper attempts to use the switching diode to realize reconfiguration of reconfigurable frequency selective surface analysis and design work based on the part of the largest core is to reasonably consider the diode circuit model.It has a big impact on the actual frequency selective surface LC equivalent model,making the original model frequency changes etc.Finally,the effect of band pass filtering and full band suppression is achieved when the switch is switched off.
