Throughout China's long history,Chinese farmers have always played an important role in China's history.Rural governance,which is closely related to farmers,is an important issue in China's modernization process,and the mode of rural governance has always been related to farmers' lifestyle,management and organization of public affairs in rural areas,allocation and mobilization of public resources in a certain region,and even the stability of the country.Up to now,agriculture,countryside,farmer this 3 agriculture problem still is the outstanding learning that scholar studies.The study of Chinese rural issues under the ancient power structure can explore the way of life of ancient Chinese farmers and the social changes brought about by institutional changes.In ancient China,since the qin dynasty,the system implemented in all dynasties was the continuation of the qin system.Such a centralized system embodied by the system of prefectures and counties lasted for thousands of years until the Ming and qing dynasties.Such a system and its evolution can be said to cover or demonstrate the change of Chinese society for thousands of years.In ancient Chinese society,political leadership led economic,cultural and social activities.The change of political system determines the change of productivity and production relationship,social pattern and social class civilization.And along with the development of industrial civilization,now passed to China,especially in the western industrial revolution of Chinese society industrialization also brought new change for rural governance,especially the many ways in 1949 after the founding of new China,shows and the fragmentation of the Chinese traditional society,and in 1979 after the reform and opening-up policy,agriculture,rural areas and farmers as "dual price scissors" "pay",the problem is highlighted.In order to realize the "good governance" of rural governance,we must analyze the change of power structure and the impact of industrialization in Chinese history over thousands of years to find out the key to solve the problem.By analyzing the structure of state power in traditional society,modern society,collectivization period and rural governance performance in the four periods after reform and opening up,this paper sorts out four models of rural governance among state power,rural elites and peasant groups.They are the traditional society's autocracy-autonomy model,the modern society's autocracy-deprivation model,the collectivization period of centralization-political movement model and the reform and opening up after the rural-village governance model.This paper analyzes the historical turning point,the external environment,the main connotation,the institutional change and the rural operation mode of the past dynasties,the change of the external environment of the political system,and the interaction between the debate itself and the existence of the system.Finally,it explores the governance mode of China's future villages.This paper includes five chapters,such as preface and text.The preface mainly expounds the background,purpose and significance of the research,literature review at home and abroad,analytical framework and research methods,as well as the innovation points of this paper.The text consists of five chapters,which are narrated according to the dimension of time.The first chapter describes the power structure,governance tools,the nature of rural elites,the mode of rural governance,and its governance results in traditional Chinese society.The second chapter studies the rural governance in the modern social period.The background of the establishment of power structure,the autonomy of each warlord,the internal change of rural elites,the flow of farmers in the region,the pattern of rural governance and the consequences caused by it are systematically analyzed.The third chapter is the analysis of the rural governance in the collectivization period after the founding of new China.Through the analysis of the land reform and the extension of the state power,the mode of the political power of the movement,the change of the rural elite,the change of the farmers' subordination,the mode of rural governance and the results.The fourth chapter is the change of village cadres' multiple identities and conflicts brought by the transfer of rural governance objectives to the economic direction after the reform and opening up,as well as the new contradictions and the insufficient supply of public goods faced by villages.Chapter five summarizes the modes and social changes of rural governance in China's past dynasties,and concludes that the three elements that play a decisive role in rural governance are state power,rural elites and farmers.And the future development of rural governance thinking.
