Research On The Improvement Of University Students' Legal Quality In The New Era

The 19 th National Congress of the Communist Party of China pointed out that socialism with Chinese characteristics has entered a new era.We must adhere to the rule of law in an all-round way and improve the legal literacy and moral quality of the whole nation.In the new historical node,it is of great significance to improve the legal literacy of college students in the new era to shoulder the responsibility of national rejuvenation and grow into socialist builders and successors.In the new era,college students' legal literacy includes five aspects: legal knowledge,legal consciousness,legal thinking,legal belief and legal practice.Since the new era,college students have made some achievements in the quality of the rule of law,and have some basic legal knowledge,the concept of the rule of law is also significantly enhanced,and the ability of the rule of law practice is gradually improved.However,the cultivation of legal literacy is not achieved overnight.Therefore,we still need to see that in the new era,there are still some deficiencies in all aspects of College Students' legal literacy,such as the shallow knowledge of the rule of law,the imperfect awareness of the rule of law,the lack of legal thinking,the lack of firm belief in the rule of law and the lack of legal practice ability.The reason lies not only in the specific practice of running the country according to law,but also in the failure to meet the requirements of running the university according to law,and also in the influence of the internal transformation of students' growth stage.In the new era,the improvement of College Students' legal literacy will be analyzed from five aspects.First,learn the knowledge of rule of law.In the new era,the learning of College Students' knowledge of rule of law needs to establish the concept of rule of law in Colleges and universities,create a cultural atmosphere of rule of law,take classroom education as the main channel,combine the classroom education of rule of law in Colleges and universities with self-education of rule of law,and improve knowledge literacy.Second,improve the awareness of the rule of law.In the new era,college students need to pay attention to the improvement and implementation of university rules and regulations and the early cultivation of the awareness of the rule of law.At the same time,they need to combine with their awareness of the rule of law and play their subjective initiative under the guidance of the values of the rule of law.Third,form the thinking of rule of law.In the new era,the formation of College Students' thinking of rule of law requires colleges and universities to implement the guidance of running schools according to law and teaching according to law,master scientific legal methods,carry out self-education of thinking of rule of law,and strengthen self-thinking of rule of law on the basis of cultivating the habit of abiding by law.Fourth,strengthen the belief in the rule of law.To strengthen the belief in the rule of law,we must deepen the practice of governing the country according to law,influence the rational judgment of college students in the new era with facts,combine with self-belief in the rule of law education,and enhance our own belief with the promotion of the spirit of the rule of law as the carrier.Fifth,participate in the practice of rule of law.It needs the combination of social resources and University platform,the connection of rule of law activities and society,and on the basis of self-rule of law practice education and behavior reflection,in turn;it needs to strengthen the knowledge,awareness,thinking and belief of rule of law,so as to form a complete process of rule of law literacy.
