The Study Of The Northwest Youth Save Congress From 1937 To 1942

Just before the outbreak of the Anti-Japanese War in an all-round way,under the double oppressions of the severe war situation at home and abroad,in order to unite the majority of the patriotic youths to join in the Anti-Japanese War,the Communist Youth League actively explored and realized the transformation of itself,and thus the Northwest Youth Salvation Congress came into being.Since its establishment in 1937,the Youth Salvation Congress in Northwest China has always adhered to the leadership of the Communist Party of China,and kept in mind its historical mission of realizing national independence and stability and people's happiness.At the same time,called on and mobilized the youths to participate in the anti-Japanese salvation campaign nationwide,which has made great contributions to the victory of the Anti-Japanese War.1937-1942 was the period from establishment to maturity of Northwest Youth Salvation Congress.At the beginning of its establishment,the Northwest Youth Salvation Congress mainly mobilized the youths and encourage them to take an active part in the war by means of creating a large variety of newspapers and magazines,putting on theatrical performances and organizing sports meetings.Meanwhile they established the An Wu Youth Training Class to apply wartime political and military education to the patriotic youth to improve their ability to defend our country.With the changes of the war situation,the main mission of the Northwest Youth Salvation Congress has transformed from appealing to propaganda to some specific tasks,such as actively organizing other youth groups to strengthen their cooperation,help the local government to conduct national education,and carry out production activities to develop the economy and so on.In addition,the NorthwestYouth Salvation Congress also paid special attention to the establishment of youth armed forces and transporting soldiers to the front line when needed.Under the guidance of Marxism,the Northwest Youth Salvation Congress always paid attention to the interests of young people,ensured the diversity of democracy within the organization and the diversity of activities,attracted the majority of young people to unite closely around the organization,and made a great contribution to the Anti-Japanese War.However,we must objectively confront the problems in the late stage of the Northwest Youth Salvation Congress,and learn some lessons for the youth movement and the development of the Communist Youth League.All in all,as a youth mass organization under the leadership of the Party,the historical significance of the Northwest Youth Salvation Congress can not be ignored.Further research can help our party and the country to unite the youth groups more closely in this new historical stage,and let the youth contribute to realizing their dream of the great rejuvenation of the whole nation.
