In international relations,the practice of sanctions has a long history,which can be traced back to ancient Greece.Up to now,in the international community,the issue of sanctions is still a hot topic in academic circles.There are more sanctions practices in the United States,China,the European Union,Iran,Russia and other countries,and the research on sanctions is more in-depth.At present,as a frequently used means and measures in the international community,sanctions are used by both multilateral and unilateral national subjects to achieve their own national goals.In this process,the sanctioned party will also take countermeasures.These means are in constant development,system changes are also in constant improvement,in this process,there are many problems and disputes,this issue has profound research significance.Firstly,this paper systematically expounds the origin,development and characteristics of sanctions,discusses the lifting,suspension and classification of sanctions,and extends the concepts of unilateral sanctions and multilateral sanctions from the classification of sanctions.Secondly,it discusses in detail the implementation methods and means of multilateral sanctions subject combined with the United Nations.Furthermore,this paper studies how unilateral sanctions are applied in international law in combination with the implementation mechanism of the typical unilateral sanctions of the United States.Finally,the legitimacy of sanctions is discussed through the previous part,and the positions and Countermeasures of sanctions are explored.Finally,it discusses the current situation of the sanctions in China,and puts forward some suggestions to deal with the legal system of sanctions.
