A Study On The Communication Of Xi Jinping's Political Discourse In International Field

Since the 18 th national congress of the communist party of China(CPC),the CPC central committee with General Secretary Xi Jinping at its core has formulated a series of important thoughts and guidelines on foreign publicity work,stressing the need to strengthen the construction of the foreign discourse system,innovating the ways of foreign discourse expression,creating new concepts,new categories and new expressions that integrate China and foreign countries,and enhancing the creativity,appeal and credibility of foreign discourse.As the head of state,Xi Jinping has taken the lead in the international arena by actively innovating the way and connotation of foreign discourse with his distinctive and unique political speeches,leading the construction of new concepts,new categories and new expressions in the dissemination of foreign discourse.This paper selects Xi Jinping's political speeches delivered in the international fields from 2013 to 2019 as the research object,and conducts an in-depth analysis of his political discourse.In his political speech,Xi Jinping actively innovates the discourse content,proposes important new discourse concepts such as "community with a Shared future for mankind" and "One Belt And One Road",and distinguishes the connotation and constructs the meaning of the new concepts from multiple dimensions,making them become political issues and ideas with global influence.He flexibly used emotional thinking,image thinking and divergent thinking to establish an effective cognitive basis of Chinese foreign dialogue,and integrated the connotation of the cognitive concept of Chinese culture,highlighting the transformation of its international discourse into a new cognitive category that integrates the Chinese and foreign countries.He skillfully changed the way of discourse,and formed a new discourse expression with personal style and characteristics through the way of reasoning that directly and implicitly coexist,the way ofnarration that combines image description and objective narration,and the way of lyricism that combines rationality and sensibility,presenting a concise and accurate discourse guiding force,sincere and plain discourse affinity and vivid discourse appeal.Xi Jinping's political discourse communication in the international field is an innovative breakthrough of China's traditional discourse mode,which lays a practical foundation for China to further open a new pattern of foreign discourse and construct a new system of foreign discourse,which also has important practical value and guiding significance for China to enhance its international discourse power.
