Hongqi Canal Spirit was formed in the great water conservancy project that our Party led the people of Linxian county to build Hongqi Canal in the early days of the People's Republic of China.In the process of building Hongqi Canal,the Party committee of Lin county put the interests of the people first,closely contacted with the masses,led the people of Lin county to fight for 10 spring and autumn with their own hands,conquered the mountains of Taihang Mountain,left their personal interests behind,and made concerted efforts to build Hongqi Canal.In this great practice,Hongqi Canal Spirit of "for the people,relying on the people,self-reliance,hard work,unity and cooperation,selfless dedication" was born.Hongqi Canal Spirit has been sublimated into a precious cultural wealth of the Chinese nation through continuous enrichment and development in practice.In the new era of rapid development,Hongqi Canal Spirit still has a very important practical significance and value of the times.This paper mainly discusses from three parts: the first part studies the formation of the spirit of Hongqi canal,and explores the development process of the spirit of Hongqi Canal by studying the background of the construction of Hongqi Canal and the formation process of the Spirit of Hongqi Canal;the second part mainly studies the connotation of the Spirit of Hongqi Canal and its contemporary value,and summarizes the rich connotation of the Spirit of Hongqi Canal into three aspects;The third part analyzes the problems faced in the process of carrying forward Hongqi Canal Spirit,and puts forward the corresponding solutions to the problems,so as to maintain the vitality and influence of Hongqi Canal Spirit forever.Hongqi Canal Spirit has both practical basis and theoretical origin.It is the spiritual civilization achievement of the people of Lin County in the long practice of building Hongqi Canal Project.This paper combines the Spirit of Hongqi Canal with the current background of the times in China,and strives to explore the connotation of the Spirit of Hongqi Canal and give it a new value of the times through in-depth research,so that the spirit of Hongqi Canal can also glow in the new era.At present,in the face of some problems in the process of carrying forward Hongqi Canal Spirit,we should take targeted measures to carry forward Hongqi Canal Spirit.
