Study On Preventive Measures Of Rural Gambling Phenomenon

With the changes of the rural economy and social structure,gambling is rampant in rural areas,traditional gambling has become more diversified and online gambling has gradually penetrated into rural areas,gambling activities have begun to evolve from general illegal behaviors to organized crimes involving gangs and evil.Gambling not only harms people's physical and mental health,affects family harmony,also makes the countryside social order faces the huge challenge.In order to curb the proliferation of rural gambling,severely punish gambling behavior,achieve effective governance in rural areas,and maintain order and stability in the country's society,it is necessary to study the phenomenon of rural gambling.Therefore,this article takes the rural area of X County in Ningxia as a field point,draws on the research achievements and theories on gambling abroad,using legal theory to comprehensively analyze the phenomenon of rural gambling,and explores the feasible preventive countermeasures for rural gambling under the perspective of rule of law.The thesis consists of the following five parts:The first chapter is the introduction,which mainly introduces the research background,theoretical and practical significance,research status at home and abroad,and research methods.The second chapter is an overview of the rural gambling phenomenon,including the related concepts and basic theories of the rural gambling phenomenon,the historical change of the rural gambling phenomenon,social harm.The third chapter is the investigation and analysis of the rural gambling phenomenon in X County.Based on the introduction of the basic situation of the rural areas in X County,the characteristics of the rural gambling phenomenon in X County are analyzed from three aspect,namely,the main characteristics,the mode characteristics of the gambling phenomenon and the changing trend of the gambling phenomenon.The fourth chapter analyzes the causes of rural gambling in X County.The main reasons include the lag of relevant laws and regulations,the weakness of police prevention,the weakening of grassroots organization control and social supply,and the loss of individual self-control.On the basis of analyzing the causes,the fifth chapter puts forward thecountermeasures to prevent the gambling phenomenon in rural areas,including strengthening the management and control function of social prevention,establishing professional and efficient police prevention and control force,improving individual prevention awareness and ability,and perfecting legislation to regulate gambling behavior.
