China and Kenya have friendly and stable political relations,and economic cooperation between the two countries has continued to deepen.Chinese companies have invested heavily in Kenya,covering infrastructure,manufacturing,energy industries and many other fields.China ' s overseas interests in Kenya are considerable.However,Kenya is located in East Africa where conflicts frequently occur.There are also many factors that are not conducive to Chinese enterprises in Kenya.Chinese companies face many political risks in Kenya such as civil strife,bureaucratic politics and corruption,ethnic conflicts,labor riots,terrorism,selective resistance,selective terrorism,competition from foreign companies and international public opinion affect.Dealing with political risks requires the joint efforts of the government and enterprises.The government should continue to deepen the friendly relations between the two countries,improve the investment protection mechanism,improve the legal system related to foreign investment,and improve the risk warning mechanism and security assistance mechanism.Enterprises should actively undertake corporate social responsibility,introduce and train international talents,implement localization strategies,conduct cooperation with NGOs,close contacts with overseas Chinese and Chinese mass organizations in kenya,value the role of local media,and establish political risk management.system.Through the above measures,Chinese companies can effectively avoid political risks and scientifically respond to political risks,thereby safely carrying out investment and business activities in Kenya and maintaining their own interests.
