The spread of Marxism in China is an prerequisite for Marxism to become the guiding ideology of the Communist Party of China and to achieve leaps on the basis of sinicization. It is helpful to promote the comprehensiveness and balance of Marxism research in China by exploring the experience and lessons of publishing and disseminating Marxist works in the Commercial Press. It is of great significant for being reality, leaning form history and promoting Marxism's spreading in China. The spreading process of Marxism in China involves basic elements such as communicators, content, channels, objects and effects.Among them, the communication channel is the hub connecting the communicator and the communication object, and is the key to the realization of the communication process. The development of the publishing industry in modern China has played a role in promoting the spread of Marxism in China to a certain extent, especially the publishing institutions that developed in the same period have become an important front for spreading Marxism. It is worth noting that the publishing organizations where Marxism has played a role in the history of Chinese communication include not only the red publishing organizations under the leadership of the Communist Party of China, but also many private publishing organizations. In the publishing industry of modern China, the Commercial Press is the earliest, largest and most influential publishing organization. The Commercial Press has become an important platform for the spread of Marxism in China by virtue of its advanced technical equipment, perfect organizational structure and talents gathered from the group. Before the founding of the PRC,there are nearly 50 Marxist works published and distributed by the Commercial Press, including not only classic works of Marxism, but also interpretation works explaining Marxism and works introducing Russia. For example:Xingde Qiushui's "Socialist Essence",Sun Zuozhang's "History of Socialism","Marxism and Historical Materialism" edited by Oriental Magazine,"Research on Historical Materialism" edited by China Academy of Art,Chen Pu Xian's "Marx Economics",Li Ji's"Value Price and Profit",Qu Qiubai's"New Russia Travels",Li Da's "Longnong Russian Studies" and other works. The specific content covers socialism, historical materialism, political economy, and Russian development. The publication of Marxist works in the Commercial Press originated from the promotion of the national salvation of Marxism, the social and cultural changes in modern China, and the market demand for Marxist works.Under the severe political situation, the Commercial Press has published and disseminated Marxist works through its affiliated magazines, opening columns, and union science associations. The market circulation of Marxist works is affected by a variety of complex factors.Marxist works published and distributed by the Commercial Press have shown the characteristics of publishing attitudes closely following the changes of the times, the concentration of text sources in Japanese channels, and the content of the works in the middle of the road.As a private publishing organization in modern China, the Commercial Press, although its publication and communication work will be affected by the environment of the times and the restrictions of commercial operations, the Marxist works published by the Commercial Press have also made important contributions to the spread of Marxism in China.Historical contribution. Not only expanded the space for the early Communist Party of China to spread Marxism, but also provided important text resources for advanced intellectuals to learn Marxism. This also enlightened the new era to continue to promote the spread of Marxism in China.China 's communication provides protection;it also needs to expand its publishing and communication positions and promote the popularization of Marxism in China;it also needs to meet the needs of the public and enhance the social influence of Marxism in China.
