Research On The Demands And Motivations Of Elderly Health Tourism In Jiangxi Province

With the intensification of global aging,the number of elderly people has surged,and the pursuit of health has become an important purpose for more and more people to travel.With the rise of health tourism,the increase in the disposable income of the elderly population,the increasing desire for physical and mental health The stronger,the silver-haired group becomes the main audience in the health tourism market.This research combines subjective and objective,macro and micro to explore the real needs and motives of senior tourists in recreational tourism,and proposes scientific and effective methods and suggestions for them from the aspects of senior tourists and practitioners to improve Older tourists' sense of experience in health tourism and promote the development of health tourism industry.The tourism industry in Jiangxi Province is developing rapidly,and the elderly population accounts for about one-tenth of the total population.In addition,Jiangxi Province has very rich health tourism resources,so this paper selects the scale of Jiangxi Province Larger travel agencies and hot spring nursing homes are more representative as locations for interviews and questionnaires.Based on previous studies,this article has conceptually defined the elderly and recreational tourism,followed by a review of the domestic and foreign development research of the recreational tourism industry,focusing on a summary of domestic and foreign tourists 'tourism motivations,and summarizing Based on the three dimensions of the physiological needs,relationship needs and growth needs of the ERG demand theory,the motivation of health tourism,based on the nine cross-sections obtained from the literature,then through the in-depth interview coding of eight senior practitioners in the health tourism industry After conceptualization,the core viewpoints are obtained,and a structured questionnaire is produced according to the practitioners 'point of view for verification and inspection,and the following conclusions are obtained:(1)According to the literature review combined with domestic and foreign research,confirm the motives for the tourism needs of middle-aged and elderly tourists.(2)After arranging and summarizing the contents of the in-depth interviews with senior practitioners in the industry,input the data into the NVIVO software,and according to the frequency analysis of the tree nodes and free nodes under various needs,it is concluded that most of the elderly in China's health tourism Still staying in the satisfaction of physiological needs,development needs are also an important dominant reason in the travel process.Based on the current status,practitioners still have cognitive problems in the growth and relationship needs of senior tourists.(3)Verification and analysis of the questionnaires issued by elderly tourists shows that the elderly have a stronger desire for physiological needs,and there are differences between specific projects and the expressions of practitioners.(4)Combining theories and survey results,and combining the physical characteristics and preferences of the elderly,they provide relevant opinions to senior practitioners and tourists in the tourism industry.
