With the rapid development of virtual reality technology,as well as the continuous innovation of combat theory,the application of virtual reality technology in military field is more and more concerned by each country.Battlefield visualization is an important means of battlefield perception,objective,reliable and real-time battlefield visualization system for the commander to assist decision-making has an important supporting role.The application of virtual reality technology to the development of battlefield visualization system has a good development prospect.However,the development of battlefield virtual reality system is based on desktop virtual reality system,in the portability and immersive battlefield environment perception has a greater limitation.In recent years,with the chip technology,sensor technology,mass storage technology and high-resolution display technology continues to develop and improve,embedded devices also have a highly efficient graphics and real-time display capabilities.The embedded device can be used as development environment of battlefield virtual reality system,which provides a new idea to solve the limitations of the current battlefield visualization system.This paper fully combs the relevant technical principle of virtual reality technology applied to visual simulation of battlefield,establishes the data organization method and dispatching strategy of virtual battlefield environment based on embedded environment,and combines the embedded platform stereoscopic display mechanism,the virtual reality system for 3D battlefield in the embedded environment is realized.The main work of this paper is as follows:(1)Complete the scene analysis task of the 3D virtual battlefield,and summarize the data characteristics of the 3D battlefield scene.Then,according to the characteristics of this kind of traditional scene data organization method,a new 3D battlefield Data organization method is proposed.Meanwhile,a data scheduling strategy for embedded platform based on this data organization method is realized.(2)The stereoscopic imaging model is established.Based on the stereoscopic imaging model and the classical Z-Buffer algorithm in graphics,a new stereoscopic image generation algorithm based on image space is proposed for the stereo display mechanism of embedded environment.And the experimental results show that the efficiency is higher than that of the double center projection algorithm in the scene with high complexity of the scene.(3)The demand analysis of virtual reality system of 3D battlefield under embedded environment is carried out.According to the system requirements analysis and the interactive peripherals which meet the demand,the technical route of virtual reality technology in embedded environment and the hardware and software architectureis are designed.Then,according to the data organization scheduling algorithm and the stereoscopic image generation algorithm,this paper completes the system to achieve the system implementation and system interaction function design.
