| Great changes have taken place in today's military reform & development. Information warfare and Digital battlefield as new war types have already stepped into the stage. Multimedia information of battlefield situation is playing an important role in information warfare. According to the multimedia information,Commanders can better understand battlefield environment,deploy their troops rationally.The paper introduces some theories,including theories& technologies of information warfare,management of multimedia data and its database,building of multimedia data and its database model. Relating the multimedia information system based on battlefield object,we discuss technologies about how to build battlefield multimedia information database,it includes something given below:(1) Theories of information warfare,technologies of information warfare building (related to battlefield situation).(2) Multimedia data model,including hyper text & hyper media.(3) Multimedia database model by expanding relational database.(4) While building basic attribute data,organize some virtual website on battlefield object and its information distribution. |
