Olin Wright's Theory Of Class Analysis

Eric Olin Wright,a famous American analytic Marxist theorist,his theory of class analysis has a great influence and greatly enriched the theoretical system of class analysis.Though there are many theories of class analysis,Wright believes that Marxist theory of class analysis plays a fundamental role in class analysis.On the basis of Marxist theory of class analysis,combined with Weber theory of class analysis and Romer theory of class analysis,Wright constructed a general framework of class analysis theory and elaborated the class structure of capitalist society.This paper studies Wright's class analysis theory by means of literature synthesis and inductive analysis,and analyzes and studies Wright's class analysis theory from four parts:The first part is the theoretical basis of class analysis theory.Wright's theory of class analysis is a synthesis of Marxist theory of class,Weber theory of class,Romer theory of class analysis and Poulantzas theory of class analysis.In terms of research methods,the author adopted the research method combining class research and stratum research to analyze and study the capitalist society.The second part is the specific content of the theory of class analysis.By using the general framework of concept construction,this paper studies the general framework of class positioning and class analysis of contradiction.The class orientation of contradiction is to analyze the contradictory position of the middle class among the classes,and the general framework is to analyze the class structure in the society.The third part is the practical research of class analysis theory.Analyze the relationship between class structure and class consciousness.Through the comparative study of the class structure of the United States and Sweden,the rationality of the class analysis theory is verified through the comprehensive study of the class distribution,per capita income,gender distribution and government relations of each class positioning in the United States and Sweden.The fourth part is the enlightenment of the theory of class analysis.This paper summarizes the research of class analysis theory and analyzes the advancement and limitation of class analysis theory.Based on the actual situation in China and the thought on socialism with Chinese characteristics for a new era and the basic strategy put forward in the report of the 19 th national congress of the communist party of China(CPC),this paper analyzes the class problem in China and puts forward corresponding Suggestions based on the thought on socialism with Chinese characteristics for a new era.
