Study On Mao Tse-tung's Forestry Thought And Its Contemporary Value

Mao Tse-tung was not only a red theorist and revolutionist,but also a green theorist and practitioner.Mao Tse-tung's Forestry Thought is an integral part of Mao Tse-tung's ideological system with scientific preciseness,extensive and profound,and far-reaching influence.It is also the historical product and practical crystallization of the localization of Marxist view of nature in China.In the theoretical context that the19 th national congress of Chinese Communist Party put forward the goal of building a great modern socialist country that is “prosperous,strong,democratic,culturally advanced,harmonious and beautiful” and established the basic strategy of harmonious coexistence between man and nature,and the practical background that China has made great achievements in ecological civilization and forestry modernization,but global ecological problems are prone to occur frequently,the further excavation of Mao Tse-tung's Forestry Thought is not only of great guiding significance for promoting the forestry construction and ecological civilization construction in the new era of China,but also of great reference significance for improving the global ecological predicament and realizing the sustainable development of mankind.From the perspective of theoretical origin,Mao Tse-tung's forestry thought is rooted in the Marxist view of nature and embodies the rich wisdom of ecological civilization bred from the excellent traditional Chinese culture of five thousand years.But from the point of view of historical evolution,Mao Tse-tung's forestry thought has experienced four stages: beginning bud,initial development,approaching maturity and continuing development.Based on the investigation of the overall characteristics of Mao Tse-tung's forestry thought,this paper further elaborated the rich connotation of Mao Tse-tung's forestry thought from four aspects: forestry economic view,forestry governance view,forestry livelihood view and forestry international view,At the same time,it is believed that Mao Tse-tung's forestry thought enriches and expands Marxist view of nature from material view,practice view,dialectic view and historical view,and provides important theoretical support for forestry modernization in the new era and construction of ecological civilization of socialism with Chinese characteristics.In a word,an in-depth study of Mao Tse-tung's forestry thought can not only enrich the theory of China's ecological civilization construction in the new era,but also open up new strategic ideas and practical approaches for green development.It can also outline realistic approachesfor realizing the vision of a beautiful China and a clean world.
