As an important content of high school mathematics and one of the core points of College Entrance Examination.the series has very important research significance and value.Through the method of literature analysis,the origin of the series and the progressive development process after its formation are studied in detail.Through the study of elementary and junior high school mathematics teaching materials,we know that the teaching and learning process in elementary schools and junior high schools has already involved the problem of arithmetic series and geometric series,which does not give a specific definition but uses the law of "finding laws" Therefore,the issue of series can be said to be one of the problems of "finding laws" in primary schools and junior high schools.Through the interpretation and study of the mathematics curriculum standards,the thesis explores a large number of the College Entrance Examination questions which involve the series part.At the same time.the paper probes into the common theme of the series in the college entrance examination:(1)Examinationof the basic concepts;(2)The solution to the general formula;(3)The summation of series;(4)The type of application in the background of classical series;(5)The actual type of examination combined with mathematical modeling;(6)The examination of new definition types;(7)The combination of functions;(8)Proof of numerical inequalities.According to the classification and research of the above-mentioned examinations,we have summarized the relevant model of solving the problem.The survey method was used to extract the students' knowledge of the series and to make suggestions on teaching by sampling the interviewees to understand the problems in mathematics teaching.
