The sequence as the typical teaching in senior high school, with the diversity of application, the content of universality and thinking method has been the subject of mathematics teaching attention. This article attempts to from the perspective of mathematics learning psychology, concepts, principles, methods and skills from four levels, to study series on teaching and learning.First, use literature research method, from the perspective of mathematics learning psychology understanding of the mathematical knowledge of classification and obtaining the appropriate mechanism for acquiring knowledge and related series have been combing literature for teaching and learning, for further research and theoretical base sequence on the basis of this knowledge into categories; Second, through test and interview, analysis students on series knowledge understanding and master of situation, came most students for series concept of understanding also is consciousness level of application, on concept of different characterization cannot has accurate of master, also no to eventually formed series of concept system, students on series in the involved of mathematics principle of understanding most is hyperplasia stage, also no full reached mastery of stage, through on series thinking of using visits found students and no to real of master and flexible using, On series, it comes to the skills, and not through the usual training of students reached a stage where automation; Finally, combine their teaching practices, from a series of concepts, principles, methods, and skills acquisition process, gives the corresponding proposals.This study is based on the psychology of mathematical learning, series, conducted a survey of knowledge of and understanding for high school students, enriches the content of mathematics learning psychology. The result of the research on teachers understand students mastering situation of sequence knowledge has certain reference value.
