As the last and important basic elementary function that students learn in high school,the content of trigonometric function involves many concepts and formulas,learners often can't understand,master and learn to apply these complex and abstract symbols in the process of learning.How to improve students' interest in learning this part and achieve the teaching goal on the premise of maintaining relaxed and happy learning has become the focus that needs to be paid attention to in the current stage of trigonometric function teaching in senior high schools.In recent years,the problem inquiry teaching method has become more and more familiar with people,and it has become a teaching method applied in many disciplines.It makes up for the shortcomings of traditional indoctrination teaching mode,makes students become the main body of the class and improves the teaching quality.In order to improve the teaching efficiency of trigonometric functions and make students understand this part fully,This article will take trigonometric function as the research object,and carry out the application of problem inquiry teaching method in trigonometric function teaching.This article first discusses the research background,research purpose and significance,research status at home and abroad,innovation and research methods aiming at the selected topic.Then it elaborates the related theories,teaching strategies and teaching principles of the problem inquiry teaching method.Secondly,it investigates and analyzes the current teaching situation of trigonometric function in senior high school.Finally,after discussing the application of problem inquiry teaching method,we designed its teaching case in trigonometric function.The emphasis of this paper is on the characteristics and requirements of new teaching and review of trigonometric functions.Taking induction formula of trigonometric functions,images of functions y=Asin(?x+?) and sine and cosine theorem and their applications as examples,this paper discusses the application of problem inquiry teaching method in trigonometric function teaching.By applying these teaching cases to practical teaching,it is found that the application of problem inquiry teaching method in high school trigonometric function teaching can not only improve classroom teaching efficiency,but also enhance students' ability to actively explore and solve problems,and also have a great influence on improving classroom teaching quality.
