Since 1980 s,psychology has been combined with subject education.Psychologists who were represented by Mayer reveal a large number of research results in Mathematical Psychology. There is lots of researches on the influence of mathematical knowledge representation on mathematical problem solving. The influence of mathematical knowledge representation on mathematical problem solving is of significance in comprehending the students' cognitive level of mathematics and the capacity to solve mathematical problems, and enhancing the teaching methods of solving mathematical problems. However, most of the previous studies focused on the external representation of mathematics, and there were few studies on the internal representation of mathematics. And the research object is mainly concentrated on the primary school students. Therefore, this study takes junior school students as subject investigated and investigates the influence of mathematical knowledge representation on mathematical problem solving. This study concentrates on the effect of the mathematical knowledge representation of junior high school students on the solution of mathematical problems. On the basis of a large number of literature studies, the meaning, mode and characteristics of the representation of mathematical knowledge are defined. Then,I choose randomly some grade eight students from a middle school in Z city of Fujian Province as samples. With the help of the test,I measure and analyze the influence of the difference of the mathematical knowledge representation and the difference of the characteristics between the eight grade students on mathematical problem solving. The results of the study are as follows:1?Differences in mathematical knowledge representation of junior high school students influence their adaptability to mathematical problems;2?The image representation does not have a positive impact on the math problem solving of junior high school students 3?The pluralism and flexibility of mathematical knowledge representation are the prerequisite and foundation for the successful solution of mathematical problems 4?The level of the mathematical knowledge representation of junior high school students affects the comprehensiveness of mathematical problems and the comprehensiveness of mathematical problems.
