In 2014,the Ministry of Education clearly put forward the requirements for the development of the core literacy system for students in each syllabus,and pointed out that it is necessary to focus on cultivating students’ abilities for lifelong development and adaptation to social development.The introduction of core literacy places more emphasis on students’ ability to acquire knowledge and master learning methods.It truly considers the students’ future lifelong development and prepares them for the cultivation of talents who will adapt to the future society.The cultivation of students’ core qualities is to be achieved through the teaching of various disciplines,and the chemistry discipline also has corresponding chemical core qualities.How to reflect the cultivation of chemical core qualities in chemistry teaching in middle schools is a key issue for current education researchers.As an important learning content for high school chemistry,organic chemistry is characterized by its complex contents,various types of organic compounds,and complex reaction mechanisms,making it difficult for many students to master the correct learning methods and the corresponding knowledge systems cannot be systematically constructed,resulting in most students are deterred from the organic chemistry test.Therefore,how to solve the teaching of this part is a common problem faced by chemistry teachers.On the basis of consulting a large amount of literature,this article aims to cultivate students’ core qualities of chemistry,and put forward the research content of the thematic teaching of organic chemistry based on chemical core qualities.First of all,in order to build a thematic teaching model of organic chemistry that promotes the cultivation of students’ chemistry core qualities,based on the constructivist theory and cognitive structure theory,enumerate the thematic design principles of organic chemistry teaching based on chemical core qualities and propose the design flow of the thematic teaching model of organic chemistry based on chemical core culture.Secondly,through questionnaire surveys and statistics on students’ difficulties in learning organic chemistry,the author concludes that the essential reason for students’ obstacles in organic chemistry learning is the lack of chemical core qualities.Then aiming at the practical problems in learning,we should formulate targeted and specific teaching objectives that can solve the difficulties in learning.The ultimate goal is to promote the development of students’ chemical quality.Thirdly,based on the thematic teaching objectives,the corresponding specific teaching strategies and recommendations are proposed,and a complete and systematic specialized teaching design process and teaching design model based on chemical core qualities is designed for teachers.Through the teaching of thematic teaching model,this study aims to enable students to fully understand the knowledge of organic chemistry,to understand the internal links between knowledge,to turn knowledge into competence,and to learn to use chemical perspectives in different situations to look at problems and solve problems.
