Reality And Expectation?analysis On The Remarriage Intention Of Single Elderly People In Urban Community

With the deepening of aging in our country,the number of elderly people is increasing day by day,and the number of single elderly people is also increasing.The issue of remarriage of single elderly people has been concerned by the government and society.Because partner and marriage play a crucial role in the old age,it is closely related to the old people's physical health,happiness index,life satisfaction and so on.The elderly population of Huangshi City is nearly 400,000,accounting for more than 16 % of the total population.The number of single elderly people can not be ignored.In this paper,11 single elderly people from the T community in Huangshigang District of Huangshi City were selected as samples.Through in-depth interviews,we tried to discuss the willingness of single elderly people to remarry and the factors affecting their remarriage,and put forward countermeasures and suggestions to promote their remarriage in order to provide help and services for the elderly in their later years.It also provides reference for the relevant government departments to make decisions.Firstly,from the basic characteristics of the sample group,the article focuses on the characteristics of the willingness of single elderly to remarry.The results showed that the more male single elderly people have a stronger sense of remarriage,the lower their willingness to remarry,the stronger their awareness of remarriage,the more obvious their willingness to remarry,and the more supportive their children are.The stronger the willingness to remarry.This shows that single elderly people's willingness to remarry is influenced by many conditions,such as gender,age,educational level,living conditions,children's attitudes and the surrounding environment.Secondly,the article mainly examines the influence factors of single elderly remarriage from two angles.The article believes that reducing the loneliness,reducing the burden of children and physiological needs are the important reasons for single elderly people to have the will to remarry;In reality,the burden of fame,the deviation of positioning,the negative psychology,the influence of the native family,and the narrow circle of communication have become important factors that preventsingle elderly people from remarrying.Thirdly,based on the need to serve elderly people in Huangshi City to remarry,and based on the results of interviews with single elderly people in the T community,the article puts forward countermeasures and suggestions to promote the remarriage of single elderly people: First,to create a good social atmosphere and use media power as the basis point.Strengthening the publicity and guidance of public opinion;The second is to use case work,group work,and community work as tools to carry out elderly remarriage services;The third is to strengthen the family support system based on emotional trust and laws and regulations;The fourth is to use matchmaking services and friendship activities as a platform to open up channels for single old people to remarry.In conclusion,the promotion of remarriage among single older persons is a complex system that requires,inter alia,a virtuous cycle of four subsystems: society,the community,the family and the elderly themselves.In this way,our harmonious community construction has a more insurance barrier.
