The conic curve belongs to the basic knowledge necessary for high school mathematics analytic geometry,but the students' scoring rate is low.Students always have problem-solving questions in the process of reviewing and solving problems when solving the problems associated with the conic section.It can effectively promote teachers' teaching work through the analysis of the wrong problem-solving ideas and finding out the logical reasoning mechanism when students solve problems wrongly.However,there are still relatively few researches on the cause analysis and teaching tactics of conic section.Through the analysis of Chongqing's college entrance examinations over the years,the score of the conic section reaches 15-20 points,which is very important in the college entrance examinations.In order to comprehensively understand the causes of the conics-curve problem-solving problem in the second year of high school students,questionnaire surveys and test questions were used to investigate the causes of the problem-solving errors in grade two students in Chongqing X high school.With the help of the student's questionnaire surveys and test questions,the causes of errors are analyzed in various ways.There are three main reasons why high school students have conical curve solving problems:(1)the basic knowledge is confusing;(2)poor psychological quality when solving problems;(3)poor behavior during learning.The corresponding three teaching strategies are excavated aiming at the causes of conical curve problem solving:(1)strengthen the framework of knowledge structure and clarify the relationship between knowledge;(2)improve students' good psychological qualities for problem solving;(3)train students in learning good habits in the problem solvingprocess.The comprehensive analyses of the causes of the conic-curve problem-solving problems in the grade two high school students could effectively improve students' ability to solve problems.Meanwhile it provides teachers with a reference for teaching and creates better learning scenarios that are understandable,easy to learn,and easy to use.
