This article is an emotional anthropological study of children's daily life in a traditional Hakka village in western Fujian which is based on fieldwork. The problem consciousness of this study is:How do children show initiative in their daily practice and interpretation of their childhood life, and what role children's emotions play in this process.Emotion is not only the microscopic individual's life experience, but also an interactive response to the macro social and cultural context. The perspective of emotional anthropology can be combined with the individual's micro-perspective and the macro-perspective of social construction, which is also an attempt of this research. Its research significance may be reflected in the following aspects:1,Provide ethnographic cases for the study of childhood anthropology.2.Try to figure out the dynamics between individual agency and social structure from the perspective of emotion. This article takes the space of local children's daily life as a clue,to explore how children express their emotions in interactions with traditional structures such as family, school, and village, during which children challenge, interpret, and reproduce traditional structures.Through the record and analysis of specific cases,I try to present how the emotion,as the individual's life experience in some specific situations,is expressed in practice and embody individual initiative. At last,I want to treat childhood as a kind of social practice, believe that children as active agents, can exert their initiative and express their emotions in dealing with changes and challenges in the external world. In the emotional experience of "bitterness" and "happiness",children's initiative is strengthened, childhood life is enriched, and a certain kind of childhood is produced. In addition,I also want to arouse the attention of children's psychology and emotion through the emotional interpretation and expression of children's emic view.
