Study On Educational Function Of University Sports Culture

"Educating people" is the core work of colleges and universities.Higher education has changed from elite education to mass education.Colleges and universities shoulder the important task of cultivating qualified talents."Moral,intellectual,physical and technical" is the four basic aspects of school education and educating people.Campus culture always lead and promote social culture.However,physical education class was often deem to be a skill course or a physical exercise in campus,under the influence of thoughts that sports can just promote body skills or develop physical fitness.These goals are narrowed the sports education form and weaked the functions of sports education.This paper studies the four essencial educational functions of university sports culture,including making fit,motivating,guiding and moral education modeling.And how to promote the functions work with the support of the sports material,spiritual,regulation cultures.The article is divided into six parts to answer the question of "what kind of culture will be used in physical education","what aspects of educating for people","how to educate people" and so on.Specific contents are as follows: Part I,point out the study reasons and introduces the related researches.Part II,describes the connotation and characteristics of the educational functions of universities sports culture.Part III,elaborate the theoretical and practical basises to strengthen the educational functions of university sports culture.Part IV,summarize the specific educational function of university sports culture,including making fit,motivating,guiding,moral education modeling and ability promoting.Part V,study the current situation and figure out the insufficiency of university physical culture education.Part VI,put forward the educational function of university sports culture play good.Clear goals,more sports material,better spirit and regulations can contribute to the educationsl functions of university sports culture.
