The development of digital and network has opened the new Information age,this personalized and diversified era has put forward new requirements for talents.In 2010,China put forward the realization of quality education,that is,to pay attention to students' personality and provide appropriate education for each student in the Outline of the national medium and long term educational reform and development program(2010-2020 years).Researchers are exploring the way forward diligently in order to achieve individualized education.In the past few years,more than one mention of personalized learning,big data analysis,and learning analytics has been published in the horizon report,by 2015,the adaptive technology has been put forward clearly.After the year by year development,the 2017 horizon plan has been listed as the key technology in the short term.It is obvious that the adaptive technology is an important trend in the development of education.Each student has different knowledge structures of a certain field,which directly affects the effectiveness of future learning.Therefore,it is necessary for us to carry out personalized learning from the point of view of adapting students' knowledge structure,we should diagnose and evaluate students' knowledge structure,then give feedback in time,push learning resource and strategy adjustment individually in the process of learning.The educational game has developed rapidly in recent years,which create the game situation with interesting stories,dynamic moving picture and sound effects,rich dynamic interaction,let students grasp the knowledge easily and happily in the process of interacting with the situation,it provides a good environment for the realization of personalized learning support.Use digital technology like information technology,game development technology,and learning theory like knowledge space theory,situated learning theory,knowledge transfer theory etc.to track students' knowledge structure by their behavioral data in games to promote study,this method can provide adaptive feedback and strategy adjustment without damaging the students' flow experience,and greatly ensure the maintenance and promotion of students' learning motivation and interest in learning,so that personalized learning can be deployment more effective.This research is expected to develop a checkpoints educational game that can effectively track students' knowledge structure under the guidance of learning theory and digital technology.The game can diagnose and evaluate students' knowledge structure through their performance in thegame,and give feedback and adjust their strategies,in order to comply with the requirements of modern education,quality education and individualized learning can be realized.This study used the literature research method,system scientific method,design research method,questionnaire survey method and so on,research designed and developed an educational game using Unity3 D as a game development tool under the guidance of the theory,that can effectively track the knowledge structure of students.The following are three aspects of the research work and the research results obtained.(1)Basic theory research.Researcher reviewed and analyzed many literatures in the field of adaptive learning and educational game,and defined the concept of knowledge structure and knowledge structure tracing within the scope of this study.This paper expounds and summarizes the three basic research theories of situated learning theory,learning transfer theory and knowledge space theory.(2)The construction of track students' knowledge structure educational game model.Study analyzed many knowledge tracking models and game models in previous research,drawing on the ideas and principles of the model,this study constructs an educational game model that can track students' knowledge structure based on the research goal and theoretical research,and analyzed the implementation of each part of the game model and the relationship between them.(3)The design and development of educational game instance can track students' knowledge structure.Study chooses the knowledge of friction in junior high school physics as the content of game learning,based on the analysis of knowledge and knowledge structure,we design the level and build level tree,then use the "adaptive diagnosis algorithm based on the relationship tree of level" to achieve adaptive feedback and threshold training.In order to achieve the overall effect of the game,this study proposed the overall framework of the game as basis of the game development based on the game model,and then researcher finished the game instance by adaptive technology according to Unity3 D as a game development platform with the integrated application of Photoshop,PowerPoint and other tools.And the application effect of the game is verified by experiments,and the results show that the game application effect is more ideal.This study creatively integrates adaptive technology into the game,and realizes diagnosing students' knowledge structure through game performance,then provides feedback and strategy adjustment.However,due to the limitation of time and technical ability,there are still many deficiencies in the research,and the future research work will continue to focus on designing and developing more excellent educational games on track the knowledge structure of students.
