Nowadays,it has become a very common thing for high school students to take part in physical tutoring.In Wuhan,extracurricular tutoring has become another place for students to learn physics.This article focuses on the reasons for the prevalence of physics classes in high schools in Wuhan and the effect of participating in extracurricular tutoring.In order to make recommendations for school education,and cause the school and society to pay attention to and think about extracurricular tutoring.This article summarizes the concept of extracurricular tutoring,and analyzes the research status at home and abroad through literature analysis.On the basis of theoretical research and literature analysis,through the survey of students' participation in tutoring classes,participation time,frequency of participation,and years of participation,we learned that physical education classes are popular in most senior students.Most of the counseling hours are concentrated on Saturdays and Sundays.The summer and winter vacations are also relatively concentrated.Students who choose to participate in physical tutoring for 2-4 hours per week are the majority,that is,once or twice a week.The frequency of private tutoring in the subject of high school physics is higher than in other disciplines.In the all high school subjects,It takes more time and effort for students to learn physics.The reasons for the students' participation in the remedial classes in the students'individual,school,family and society are studied.The conclusions indicate that the students' physics performance is not ideal,the competition pressure between the school and the students is great,the effect of the taking class in school is not good,the family parents' expectations and the college entrance examination are the main reasons why students participate in physical tutoring.The effect of students' participation in tutoring classes on student achievement,interest in learning,learning methods and utilization of extracurricular time were analyzed.The conclusions indicate that high school students'participation in physical tutoring is helpful for some students' academic performance,and most of students improvements in interest and confidence and improvements in learning methods.A case study was conducted on three levels of students to observe students,learning behaviors.The three physical students who participated in the physics and mathematics classes were followed for half a year's physics.The effect of physics tutoring on three levels of students was different's reason.The conclusion shows that the effect of participation in counseling is related to the students'enthusiasm for learning and intrinsic motivation.The participation of counseling students and middle school students in the improvement of performance is better,and the students with good results have the best effect in improving interest and confidence and improving learning methods.Finally,through the prevalence of remedial classes to reflect on the inadequacies of school education,some suggestions were made for school education,extracurricular tutoring classes,and student participation in tutoring classes.
