The progress of technology has been led to revolution of media form.The traditional print media are gradually merging with mobile networks,that results in continuous appearance of emerging media.Among them,social media platforms such as Weibo and WeChat have gained strong development momentum,gradually covering most mobile users.With the function of these social application software become continuous optimization and the more and more emergence of micro things,the micro-lifestyle gradually became normality,people began to enter a brand-new micro-era.Reading,an indispensable part of daily life,has also acquired a "micro" color in the background of this era.The transformation of this reading mode is irreversible under driven by the tide of the times,and the emergence of a new thing is bound to cause extensive discussion.Therefore,this paper mainly focuses on the following aspects of Micro-era reading:Firstly,combed domestic and foreign literature that about digital reading and related theory of Micro-era reading to understanding the research status,research background and research significance of digital reading and Micro-era reading,then determined the basic research contents,research methods and technical route of this paper.Secondly,through literature analysis,this paper constructs the framework of reading research in the micro-era,mainly elaborates the concept,formation,characteristics and development trend of the micro-era,The definition of Micro-era reading conception and the brief introduction of the most representative Weibo reading,WeChat reading and micro video reading;This paper makes a brief analysis of the reading psychology theory,cognitive psychology theory and media dependency theory.Thirdly,this paper makes an empirical research on the Micro-era reading of college students.The contents of this survey mainly include the behavior characteristics and the influence of Micro-era reading.Questionnaire were been designed for the contents of this two parts.The part of reading behavior characteristics mainly sets up question of descriptive statistics,which mainly includes the frequency distribution of time,location of reading,content of reading,selection and use of media between college students.In the part of reading influence designed a five-point scoring system from the consideration of three aspects,which one from the cognitive development of college students,the influence of reading and the influence of college libraries.Fourth,the survey was carried out through the form of network questionnaire,and the data analysis was carried out by using Excel and SPSS statistical software.Fifth,Putting forward some suggestions for improving micro-reading of college students according to the results of the empirical survey,respectively from three aspects.that improving reading ability of themselves,media together to improve and improve service quality in university library.Through the system study of above,we have a preliminary understanding of the characteristics and effects of micro-era reading.However,there are still some deficiencies in the research process,and we hope to get further improvement in the future research.
