The Relationship Between The Hitting Speed And The Accuracy Of Table Tennis Players

Improving table tennis athletes' hitting speed?accuracy and stability of the hitting point becomes one of the important tasks of table tennis skill practice.In the field of motor skill control,researchers have found that the trade-off between speed and accuracy is prevalent in many human actions.Present research suggests that the reason for the trade-off between speed and accuracy may be related to the strength of the action,and that the increase or decrease of the action force will also alter the error of the action.When the action force is large enough,the space for forming the action error will decrease correspondingly,so the error will decrease.Table tennis is a fast,strong,high impact rotary motion,the relationship between the function of the three can provide an important basis for table tennis theory construction,to explore the influencing factors of the rotating speed and the placement of table tennis is focused on the study of the contents of table tennis.The purpose of this study is to reveal the table tennis ball speed and accuracy tradeoff law to enrich the Fitts' law and pulse variation theory,provide the important contents of the basic theory of table tennis.By studying the balance law of speed accuracy in table tennis,we can provide the basis for the stability training of table tennis players.In this study,24 young athletes were used to analyze the speed and placement accuracy of the participants:1)There is a trade-off phenomenon between location accuracy and ball speed,improve ball speed will reduce the accuracy.2)When the ball speed was hit around 85% of the maximum speed,the ball location will be the worst stability.3)By use the maximum force to get ball in the middle ball speed and high rotation speed to improve the accuracy of placement is an effective strategy to.4)Hitting in high speed affect the accuracy of the ball route but less affect the accuracy of ball landing in fro and backward direction.
