Home-school cooperation has always been an important work in kindergarten,a good parent-teacher relationship is of great significance in bringing about home-school cooperation and promoting children's development.However,based on the reality,there are still many discordant factors on parent-teacher relationship in kindergarten,parent-teacher conflicts inevitably exist in home-school interaction.How to develop a friendly parent-teacher relationship,and avoid the opposition and conflict are also problems to be solved urgently.This study aims to reveal parent-teacher conflict phenomenon from the perspective of kindergarten teachers' perception,and discuss the nature,causes,performance,influences of parent-teacher conflict and explore teachers' coping strategies.Finally,put forward some suggestions for reference to manage conflict.In order to grasp parent-teacher conflict phenomenon comprehensively which is complex,situational,procedural,this study used a combination of questionnaires,interviews,and case analysis to conduct research:First,designed "kindergarten teachers' perception of parent-teacher conflict survey questionnaire",500 kindergarten teachers in Zhejiang Province were randomly distributed through questionnaires.Then,10 kindergarten teachers were selected for depth interview through deliberate sampling method,as well as a private kindergarten and public kindergarten were selected in Hangzhou for group focus interviews through convenient sampling method,and analyzed 22 parent-teacher conflict cases which were obtained from the interviews and Internet.The research results as follows:1.Kindergarten teachers generally agree that having a good parent-teacher relationship is of great value to children's development and teachers' work.It will not only affect the pace and rhythm of children's development,but will also affect children's personality,social interaction,and the formation of beha-vioral habits.At the same time,it will also affect the development of class work,kindergarten activities,and the enthusiasm of teachers.2.Parent-teacher conflict is objective and has double attributes.Regarding the perception of its existence,most kindergarten teachers have recognized that parent-teacher conflict is an inevitable objective existence in the process of home-school interaction,but it's a non-normal phenomenon which does not happen frequently.With regard to the perception of its function,the pros and cons of the parent-teacher conflict coexist on the whole,but more kindergarten teachers think that it is more harm than good.3.The performance of parent-teacher conflicts are complex and diverse,and most of the parent-teacher conflicts are general conflicts:psychological conflicts,disagreements and verbal conflicts are the main conflict performance.4.About the perception of parent-teacher conflict's inducements.This study summarized subjectivity factors and situational factors.These subjectivity factors such as:parents' personal accomplishment and temperament types,communication concepts and abilities,educational concepts,and teachers' work experience,communication skills and professionalism may all become potential conditions that trigger conflicts;children in reception class,peer conflicts leading to physical injuries,children emerging health or safety issues,missing pictures and other circumstances are situational factors which lead to parent-teacher conflict more directly.5.About the parent-teacher conflict's influence and the common strategies kindergarten teachers dealing with parent-teacher conflict.And they have realized that parent-teacher conflict has a negative impact on parent-teacher relationship,children,s development and teachers' professional identity.However,whether it will affect the relationship between teachers and children or not,and there is no unanimous opinion.And when facing the conflict,kindergarten teachers mainly use three kinds of conflict management strategies:collaboration or compromise to solve the problem,apologizing and relocation to achieve parental satisfaction,and third-party intervention to reconcile the conflict.Finally,this study also proposed conflict management suggestions from three aspects:guide and optimize teachers' perception on conflict,adjustment and conflict prevention,so as to help kindergarten teachers establish correct conflict concept and deal with the conflict effectively.
