The harmonious development of teacher-parent relationship is an important premise of "cooperative education" of moral education in primary and middle schools.With the development of the times,the problems of teacher-parent conflict(TPC)has become more and more serious.However,the domestic research on teacher-parent relationship are mainly concentrated in the "teacher-parent collaboration" some terms such as"dialogue","participation" and "synergy" are too inclined to live in harmony,research on TPC is very scarce.TPC is an unavoidable objective fact in the process of communication between parents and teachers.Conflict is not only a performance of school-parent contradictions,but also a strategy to solve school-parent contradictions.To bridge the research gap,to promote the construction of TPC theory,this qualitative study shows the present conflict between teachers and parents,and focus on the analysis of connotation,case,origin and countermeasure of the TPC.In order that provide a valuable reference and suggestions to resolve the problems,and builde a harmonious relationship between school-parent.TPC is a series of interactive process between parents and teachers when one side responds to negative emotions or behavior because of perceived conflicting and inconsistent between each other in child education target,responsibility,concepts,and methods,reflecting the problems of family education and school education.TPC are sporadic in different social periods,however in the key period of education reform,the outbreak of TPC is inevitable,showing four characteristics,that is objectivity,complexity,duality and arduousness.The typical types of TPC are trust crisis conflict,responsibility shift conflict,interests competition conflict and concept difference conflict.This study aims to explore the problems and countermeasures of TPC through the analysis of the fresh and living materials of the TPC in the educational practice.This study suggests that the essence of TPC is the rivalry between parent power and teacher power,that is the conflict between teacher professionalism and parent empowerment.First of all,the absence of the system leads to parents can not participation in school education fully,and teachers have no legitimate autonomy of profession.Secondly,parent empowerment and teacher professionalism are misused because of lack of theoretical study.In addition,the absence of school administration gives rise to the intensification of TPC,while the constructive influence is covered,and the destructive effect expanding.According to the research,this study proposes strategies for TPC,that is prevention system,concept transformation,management experience and coping strategies.
