Developing the pre-scientific experience of children is very important and valuable.The continuity and particularity of scientific quality show that the scientific education of children should regard cultivating children's scientific quality as the first goal,and regard promoting the development of concepts of life science as a vital goal.Children need to study scientific concepts.In detail,this study should focus on the discussion of the meaning of scientific concepts by games,instead of relying on the concepts.As a result,it can change children's understanding of concepts and arouse their scientific minds.The main task of preschool education in China is to help children develop scientific quality.In some special field,such as the filed with plenty of knowledge experience,children can make ontological distinction,and they can create the mechanism of causal explanation.There is a consistency of knowledge experience.Consequently,the cognition of death,as an important part of pre-scientific concepts,and the discussion of features and developmental levels of children's cognition of death can provide more children's opinions for the improvement on the quality of life and death education.This study chooses randomly three kindergartens in Changchun and uses the semi-structure interview as the main method to interview 54 children in senior grades.Additionally,this study shows the children's cognition of features of death,causes of death and feelings of death by the analysis of data derived from observation and interview,about 40,000 words.According to the analysis conclusion of data,this study discusses the internal opinion of children about features of death,causes of death and feelings of death,and analyze those opinions,including three parts:Analyzing characteristics of children's cognition of death;Analyzing factors in children's cognition of causes of death;Analyzing differences in children's feelings of death.In the final part of this essay,this study shows some findings:Children in senior grades have some features in terms of the cognition of death,including versatility,diversity and reflexivity;Factors in children's cognition of causes of death includes cognitive factors,personal traits and environmental factors;There are differences in children's feelings of death among different biological categories,and the most negative emotions belong to people,following by animals and plants;When children face death,they may have some strategies to deal with it,such as active coping,seeking support,escaping and letting it go.Finally,this study gives some advice on educational work related to those problems: firstly,teachers should listen to children's opinion and concentrate on children's feeling of death;secondly,teachers should revise the structure of curriculum,such as adding some educational content of developing pre-scientific experience;thirdly,teachers should reduce some negative factors and provide supports for children;fourthly,teachers should help children develop some positive qualities and cultivate good personalities.
