At present,China is in a period of social transition with an aging population,and the increasing number of elderly people is injecting vitality into the old-age care system,and the nursing home is becoming more and more common.Compared with the elderly at home,the needs of the elderly are more special.Many elderly residents face crises such as death,illness,roommate disputes,loneliness,depression and even suicide.The resolution of these crises will undoubtedly require the involvement of social workers.In the social work of the elderly,the social workers should have a clear idea of individualization.First of all,it is necessary to make clear what kind of sudden crisis the elderly people often face,and to clarify the causes of the crisis and the harm caused.Secondly,it is important to clarify the ways in which social workers intervene and what works best when the crisis triggers depression.Finally,it is necessary to validate,summarize and reflect on the case practice and form the working method of the system.In order to prevent and prepare before the crisis,effective intervention after the crisis.This paper mainly describes a case that I found and tried to solve during my internship.The case is a typical representative of a relatively inactive group of elderly people in the nursing home.This kind of old people belong to the disadvantaged group of the nursing home,the social support is weak,encounter the emergency very easy to fall into the depressive mood.When the crisis comes,these old people tend to be vulnerable and vulnerable to depression.In the face of severe situation,the author has done relevant research.In the first stage,I read a lot of literature and summarized the previous experience and shortcomings.In the second stage,the crisis intervention mode is introduced in detail,and the necessity and feasibility of crisis intervention are analyzed in combination with the status quo of W welfare institute.Secondly,the author combined with the basic information of the director and the ins and outs of the case was analyzed,and the work arrangements,according to the theoretical guidance of combined with the actual situation of egotism director for crisis intervention.Finally in the final stage of the author for the case in case work the same way as for the follow-up and evaluation,on the basis of the above work reflect the whole working process is discussed,finally confirmed the crisis intervention for the elderly sudden depression has a strong applicability.
