Study On Nancy Fraser's Theory Of Gender Justice

As an important representative of neo-marxist feminism,Nancy Fraser integrates her care for contemporary women and criticism of gender injustice into her theoretical system concerning social justice.This thesis comprehensively applies literature research method and comparative method to systematically studied Fraser's theory of gender justice.The contents include the formation background of Fraser's theory of gender justice,the main contents of Fraser's theory of gender justice.It focuses on Fraser's reconstruction of the concept of both gender and gender justice,her description of the welfare state that can lead to gender justice and the connotation of gender justice as well as its realization strategy in the era of globalization.In the last part,this thesis evaluates the value of Fraser's theory of gender justice.It pays especially attention to the effects of Fraser's theory on feminist movements and the reform of the American welfare system.About the theoretical value of Fraser's theory,this paper mainly takes feminism and justice theory into consideration.
