Since 2004,anti-corruption TV dramas have entered a period of relatively quiet adjustment of ten years.After the anti-corruption drama returned to the screen in 2014,the response from the youth audiences was even.In 2017,the anti-corruption drama "The People's Name" was widely watched.The proportion of college students aged 19-24 accounted for 37.93%.The group of college students is a relatively special group.The preference for certain television programs influences the preference of the entire society for such programs in the future.This article uses the five types of personal demand for mass media and the expectation-value model that the media has put forward by Katz,Grivic,and Haas as the theoretical basis,and adopts a combination of questionnaires and in-depth interview methods.In the name of the people,the psychology of college students' ratings is studied.This article takes the undergraduates of colleges and universities in China as the research object,based on previous research results and previous questionnaire surveys,makes research hypotheses and produces questionnaires.The questionnaire was published on the questionnaire star network platform,and SPSS 22 analysis software was used to process and analyze the questionnaire data.The data analysis uses the Varimax method to perform maximum orthogonal rotation of the variance of the initial public factors.Through comparative analysis,it is found that the main viewing motivation for watching anti-corruption plays in college students is “cognitive acquisition expectations”,which is obtained after watching “the name of the people”.Corresponding satisfaction;while the second-ranked viewing motivation “identifies acquisition-type expectations”,the level of satisfaction is the lowest.Through the analysis of differences,it is found that the demographic variables of college students differ in the degree of viewing motivation and viewing satisfaction.These differences are reflected in the fact that the Communist Youth League members are more likely to obtain identities when viewing the “People's Name” than the CPC members.In the viewing satisfaction,male students can get more satisfaction from chatting with friends and entertainment after watching “The Name of the People”.Senior students can get their own knowledge from the TV drama.Analysing and summarizing that undergraduates watching the anti-corruption drama "the people's name" produced knowledge,entertainment psychology and empathy.In order to meet the psychological needs of college students,in the future,anti-corruption film and television drama creation must first pay attention to the ideological content of anti-corruption works in order to meet the audience's desire for knowledge;secondly,set character plot conflicts and suspense in the expression of the plot to create an atmosphere of audience presence;finally grasp the college students' Values tend to promote self-identity.
