The junior school stage is a special period in which the physical and psychological changes occur.Exploring the secondary school students' psychological change have a very important significance on their growth and academic performance.Parent-child communication is the communication between parents and children based on parent-child relationships.Academic emotions are the sum of all the academic related feelings throughout the learning process.The parent-child communication situation and academic emotions have an important influence on students learning.Rural junior high school students as a special group,therefore exploring the relationship between parent-child communication,academic emotions and academic performance have an important significance.The present study selected junior students as the research object,used the questionnaire survey based on the literature.A sample survey was conducted on Zhangjiakou City,Hebei Province,Chicheng County town of Baicao junior school.This study investigated the rural junior school students' characteristics of parent-child communication and academic emotions as well as the relationship between the two an academic achievement.Conclusions drawn by this study are as follows:(1)The overall average of parent-child communication is at a good level.Girls in parent-child communication are significantly higher than boys.There is no significant difference in parent-child communication between different grades.The parent-child communication situation is better than non-only child.(2)Rural junior school students in the learning process more performance the positive emotion.Boys and girls have a difference in positive high awakening and positive low awakening dimension.The lower grade students experienced more positive academic emotions while the higher grade students experienced more negative academic emotions.Non-only child experienced the negative academic emotions more than the only child.(3)Parent-child communication and academic achievement were significantly correlated.(4)Academic emotions can predict academic achievement,happy play the largest role,followed by tired.(5)Parent-child communication plays a part intermediary role between academic emotions and academic achievement.
