This study adopted Grasmick's self-control Questionnaire Revised by Qu Zhiyong and Zou Hong(2009),the edition involves three dimensions of self emotion,impulsiveness and simplification tendency to examine students' self control ability.The study uses the “Internet Addiction test”which Compiled by Young in 1996.There are 322 rural junior middle school students as subjectsto investigate the social support of rural junior high school students,self control and internet Addiction,to determine the relationship between variables from gender,grade and other demographic variables analysis,in order to explore the status and the relationship between the internet addiction of students in rural junior middle school.The study hopes to better understand the students and guide them to use networkrationally.The results of the study indicate that:(1)the status of Internet Addiction of junior middle school students in rural areas is not optimistic,nearly 40% of the students in the Internet addiction edge;gender differences in Internet addiction students,the proportion of boys than girls,but the sex ratio tends to narrow the;Internet addiction in grade and whether the only difference is not significant;Internet addiction students are higher than the non left behind left behind.(2)the self control ability of rural junior middle school students is uneven.There are significant differences in gender and whether left behind or not.There are significant differences in grades,and grade three grades show a downward trend of U.(3)there is a significant positive correlation between Internet addiction and self-control in rural junior high school students,and self controlled self emotional dimension is a significant predictor of Internet addiction.
