Analysis Of The Influence Factors Of Gender Income Disparity In NingXia

The prevailing gender inequality and economic status in our country,the ideological culture is more conservative under the relatively closed material conditions,the status of women is relatively lower,the phenomenon of gender income gap is more serious in Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region.Gender income inequality is too great to achieve social equity and economic development.It also hinders the progress of women's social status and gender equality,and is also detrimental to the harmonious and healthy development of society.This paper takes the Ningxia as an example,the problem of gender income differences based on ethnic areas,the use of research methods of normative analysis and empirical analysis of the main factors affecting the gender differences of the income and related problems,using the survey data of Ningxia,based on the theoretical analyses on the related indicators were selected from three gender discrimination,human capital and market factors,through constructing the model,using OLS regression and quantile regression method to study the relationship between variables and gender differences,empirical research and analysis of the gender differences of the income of urban residents in Ningxia,This study shows that gender discrimination exists in the urban areas of Ningxia.With the increase of income levels,the greater the gender income gap,the smaller the effect of human capital and the more obvious the division of employment.At the end of this paper,some suggestions are given to provide scientific basis for reducing gender income differences,which is of great practical significance for promoting social harmony and stability and economic sustainable development.
