Solution Research On The General Formula Of Sequences In The College Entrance Examination

Sequence is an important part of high school mathematics which occupies a very important position in the examination of the college entrance examination.Not only is it involved in the multiple-choice questions,fill in the blanks,but also almost all the provinces have a test points of series.Therefore,the problems of sequence is one of the most important thing in the high school's mathematics teaching and students' study,especially the review before the examination.Normally,all the problems involved in the sequence in the college entrance examination have the following in common,The first one is solving the general formula for sequence.Then on the basis of the general formula,and combine the contents of sequence or the other relevant mathematical knowledge of sequence as an extension which derives the second problems.This paper analyzes and combs the answer questions of the college entrance examination,and make the solution of general formula as an outline,then introduces the summing method and the combination of sequence and other knowledge for high school teachers and senior students.In this paper,eight methods are given for solving the general formula.First of all,through the detailed analysis of the college entrance examination examples,analyze the usage characteristics of various methods.Secondly,through statistical analysis,the quantities and values of sequence questions in seven years college entrance examinations were confirmed,which demonstrates this work is essential and reasonable.From the comparative analysis for the different solution methods for general formula,it can be seen that the method of undetermined coefficients,the Sn relation method,the construction method and the recursive relations method are the most frequently investigated methods in the college entrance examination.Therefore,teachers must pay more attention to the above four methods in teaching and student's practice.
