Weight management is the behavioral tendency of a person when he is engaged in weight management according to his subjective judgments.From the aspects of attitude,subjective norm,subjective sense of control,this research mainly investigates the behavioral intention of adolescent weight management with the purpose of exploring the consciousness and behavior of the youth on weight management,analyzing the factors that affect weight management and then presenting corresponding strategies to help teenagers to achieve scientific weight management.According to the research purpose,this paper studies the behavioral intention of adolescent weight management and the respondents are the students in junior and senior high schools.I conducted the field investigation in Datong city,Taiyuan city,Linfen city and Yuncheng city.After collecting the questionnaires,I referred to related literature and sorted related materials based on three dimensions of attitude,subjective norm,subjective sense of control in the theory of planned behavior and explored the behavioral intention of adolescent weight management.Also,Spss21.0,Amos21.0 and EXCEL were used to analyze the data and study the behavioral intention of adolescent weight management.The results showed that:(1)Through exploratory factor analysis,the behavioral intention of adolescent weight management included: attitude,subjective norm and subjective sense of control.(2)There was significant differences between male and female students,urban and rural areas,overweight and normal weight adolescents: the adolescents' weight management intention of female students was significantly higher than that of male students;the urban adolescents' weight management higher than that of rural adolescents;overweight adolescents' weight management higher than normal weight adolescents.There were significant differences between the ages of 15 and 18 and those aged 15 and 18 were significantly lower in weight management than other ages;There were no significant differences between the students of the third grade in junior and senior high schools,but significant differences compared with other grades.And the index of the third grade students was slightly lower than other grades on behavioral intention.There were obvious differences among the adolescents of above average,below average and lower families.The teenagers in the middle and above families were more likely than the younger ones to manage their weight.(3)There were many factors influencing and restricting the behavioral intention of adolescent weight management.These included school sports factors,family factors,community environmental factors,personal lifestyle and physical self-esteem.(4)Among them,school sports factors,family factors,and community environment have important influence on adolescent weight management behavior intention.The school sports factors together with family factors,community environment,personal lifestyle and physical self-esteem have significant influence on the attitude,subjective norm and subjective control of adolescent weight management behavior.As a result,the personal lifestyle and physical self-esteem also have some influence on the behavioral intention of adolescents' weight management.(5)Accordingly,the paper supplements the improvement strategies in the aspects of personal life style,parental control attitude and consciousness,community sports facilities,school physical education and so on: Establish a healthy weight awareness and form a good living habit;Improve parents' weight cognition level and customize the nutritious meal plan;Strengthen the fitness function of physical education class,and make personalized sports prescription;Improve community sports facilities and establish community partnership agreement;Build a multi-channel linkage mechanism among schools,families and communities to build scientific weight management;Actively participate in various out-door sports activities;...
