With the arrival of ocean century,the construction of maritime power has become an important part to build socialism with Chinese characteristics.And the premise of the construction of maritime power is reflected that the social populace have maritime consciousness of caring about the ocean,understanding the ocean,and planning and managing the ocean.Teenagers,as the main part who realize the “Chinese Dream”,it is an urgent need to cultivate maritime consciousness for them.Based on this,the education of maritime consciousness has become an important issue to be solved urgently in China's basic education in the new era and new situation.There are many researches on the education of maritime consciousness in the history teaching of senior high school,but there are still some space to study.Concrete speaking,previous researches focus more on theory and do not combine closely with history teaching in middle school.At the same time,there are no supplement or researches on the lack of educational materials of maritime consciousness in historical textbooks.And many researches take coastal areas or college students as research subjects,while few researches focus on education of maritime consciousness of basic education in inland areas.With the popularization of education of maritime consciousness,it is necessary to make marine knowledge “go into textbooks,classroom and campus” and become one part of basic education system.On the basis of previous researches,integrating maritime history into senior high school history teaching is an effective way to solve the above-mentioned deficiencies,and it is also the basic way to cultivate students' maritime consciousness in senior high school history teaching.Confidence comes from the depths of history.And there is not only maritime expedition,but also maritime civilization in China.Moreover,Therefore,exploring the historical facts of maritime history,relying on the previous researches,guided by The History Curriculum Standard for Senor High School,actively combining with senior high school history textbooks,and selecting education materials of maritime history which are suitable for senior high school history teaching practice,which are helpful toprovide effective teaching reference for teachers on the front.The integration of maritime history into senior high school history teaching is not only the integration of knowledge.It also refers to reasonably supplementing the knowledge of maritime history,and carrying out penetrating teaching aiming at different contents,including supplemented by pictures,or combined with current events on the basis of textbooks.At the same time,there are many indispensable measures in education of maritime consciousness,such as teachers' knowledge of maritime history,the use of online course resources and so on.In addition,the teaching of maritime history should follow the principles: methods in teaching are available,unlimited but worth selecting.In the new marine times,there are many benefits for students to learn the track of human history development from the perspective of maritime history,such as having one more dimension to see the trend of historical development,learning past human activities more comprehensively and so on.Moreover,it can also build a strong reserve army for the construction of a maritime power and the implementation of the“21st Century Maritime Silk Road” strategy.
