Textbook is a teaching book,which is written in accordance with the curriculum standards,and can reflect the content of the subject.The textbook is a guiding material for both students' learning and teachers' teaching at the same time.The introduction of knowledge in the textbook can provide the plans and ideas of introduction of teaching and the creation of teaching situation for teachers,and it has an important impact on many aspects of the students,such as the extraction of information,the establishment of concept and the connection of knowledge,and so on.The presentation way of introduction of knowledge in the textbook was provided the plans and ideas of introduction of teaching and the creation of teaching situation for teachers.So it must has a reasonable and appropriate compilation of knowledge introduction in a good textbook.Recently years,with the deepening of the chemistry curriculum reform,and the new chemistry curriculum standard is put forward,writers of textbooks is faced a real problem: how to request according to the curriculum and the practice of teaching and students' need to improve representation of knowledge,the authors try to situation the content of the textbook knowledge or reform the structure and framework of textbooks,but they are ignored to design the"leader"of knowledge introduced in the textbooks.In this paper,33 knowledge points were pointed in Chemistry: Concepts and Applications and 30 knowledge points in Chinese chemistry textbooks are selected as the research objects respectively.And divided them into four types of knowledge element compounds were based on chemical composition and structure of the law.The knowledge of chemistry is divided into four types: basic knowledge of chemistry,the composition and structure of materials,element compounds and the chemical reaction principle.And then,extract the introduction of knowledge in these knowledge points and detailed analysis.According to the characteristics of the knowledge introduced and the relationship with the knowledge points inductive all the introduction of knowledge into types of introduction of knowledge,analysis them in the order from the whole to part.Finally,select three the most representative example in the two versions of the textbooks,such as Amount of substance,Chemical bond,Electrolytic cells.The ultimate goal was found out the advantages and disadvantages from the overall and local comparison.According to this,it was compared with the Chinese textbook,the characteristics of American textbook is found,it can be summed up as "a little more than three and one stronger",that is,more content,more pictures,more introduction of life situation,less introduction of advance organizer,and strong correlation between the way of knowledge introduction and the type of knowledge.Finally,combined with Chinese basic national conditions and training objectives,draw on each others strength to draw on each others strength,draw some enlightenment,and provide specific valuable Suggestions and references for Chinese future compilation of high school chemistry textbooks.
