Based on the characteristics of the World Badminton Competition System,this study takes the competition structure of elite athletes as the research object,and sorts out the competition structure of the nine outstanding badminton men's singles athletes in the world,and draws the characteristics of number,level,region,time,points,etc.aim to provide athletes with their own competition structure,choose the appropriate number of participating stations,improve the quality of the competition,and maintain a good competitive state.Through the literature data method,mathematical statistics method,expert interview method and cases analysis method.Starting from the three aspects of the athlete's annual competition structure,the characteristics of the annual competition structure,the relationship between the annual competition structure and the annual training.the research on the competition structure of nine elite athletes leads to the following conclusions:1.The average number of participating stations in the world's outstanding badminton players is between 10.9-19.3.The world's number one average number of participating stations is 13.1 stations.Participation in the competitions of the fourth grade or above is dominant,and the competitions below the fourth grade are rarely participated.The participating regions are mainly concentrated in Asia and Europe.2.The annual competition time for the world's outstanding badminton men's singles athletes is March,April and November,and a low peak in July.According to the competition time,the athletes' annual competition can be divided into three stages.3.The average annual score of the world's best badminton men's singles athletes is between 49038.3-86561.4 points.The world's number one average earned pointswas 91019.1 points.4.During the Olympic period,in the first three years,the number of participating athletes in the word,the number of entries in each level,points increased year by year,and the Olympic year decreased.To achieve the top ten in the world,athletes can use the average number of participating stations in each of the top ten in the world as a reference to arrange the number of competitions they want to participate in.Use the average scores of the top ten rankings in the world as a reference to determine their target points for the current year,before the Olympic Games,the number of athletes participating in the competition and the points earned were significantly higher than after the Olympics.
