Negative Emotions Of The Aged In Institutions And Ways Of Guidance From The Perspective Of Social Work

Since the 21st century,with the rapid development of the economy,the speed of the aging of population is also accelerating,and pension has become a problem that every society and family must be faced.At present,the main ways of providing for the aged in our country are home-based,community-based and institutional pension.Nowadays,family structure is becoming smaller and smaller,and home-based pension can no longer meet its needs.At the same time,the related system of community pension is not yet perfect,so community pension can not play its due role.Institutional pension has become a powerful choice for families in need with its flexible pension mode and all-round service.However,the institutional development system is not yet mature,and the professional level of institutional personnel is low.Because of its own profitable characteristics,it pays attention to the operation and development of the institution,lacks of spiritual care for the elderly in institution.In addition,most of the elderly who live in the institution have a higher degree of aging,weak adaptability,so the aged in institution are prone to have psychological and emotional problems.Through a three-month practice at L institution in Hefei,we found that some old people in L institution had serious emotional problems.Based on the observation and interview with the old people and staff during the practice,we tried to analyze the causes of negative emotions of the old people in L institution from the professional perspective of social work.The study found that the main reasons for negative emotions of the old people in L institution were the degeneration of physiological function and low psychological support,insufficient social development and other external reasons such as limited natural environment and lack of human environment.In view of the negative emotions of the elderly in institutions,using professional methods and means of social work to provide research ideas for the research on Negative Emotion Guidance of the Aged in the Institutions.This paper is mainly divided into five parts.The first part of the introduction mainly introduces the background,purpose,significance,definition,literature review,theoretical basis of the research on negative emotions of the elderly in institutions and research methods;The second part mainly introduces the negative emotional types of the elderly with negative emotions in the L institution of the study object,mainly focusing on depression,anxiety,anger and suicide;The third part mainly elaborates the influence of negative emotions on the physical health,mental health and interpersonal communication of the elderly in L institution.The influence of the physical health is mainly manifested in the occurrence and aggravation of various elderly diseases;the influence of the mental health is mainly concentrated in the accumulation of negative emotions,resulting in psychological and emotional disorders;the influence of the interpersonal communication is mainly manifested between the elderly,the nursing workers,the social worker and the managers;The fourth part elaborates the causes of negative emotions of the elderly in L institution from two aspects:self and external.The study finds that the main causes of negative emotions of the elderly in L institution are the degeneration of physiological function,insufficient continuation of socialization,and the limitation of natural environment and lack of humanistic environment.The fifth part analyses the ways to guide the negative emotions of the elderly in L institutions from the perspective of social work,mainly including the implementation of case management,the use of growth groups,the links of external resources.Case management is mainly embodied in the collection and collation of detailed information on the elderly with negative emotions in the early stage and the assessment of the overall situation of the elderly,including the evaluation before admission and the evaluation after admission.The use of growth group is mainly presented through vibrant finger exercises,warm-hearted birthday party,wonderful film day,Thanksgiving Mother's Day;the links to external resources are reflected in the importance of excellent managers attach to,carefully nursing staff accompany,enthusiastic volunteer accompany,professional psychological counselor treatment.
